I was reading your blog because I have been looking into what I can do with an English degree with a minor in communication. I saw that you mentioned that you are a technical writer and a copywriter. I have been trying to figure out how to get into both occupations. I don't have any experience in either and could really use some advice on how to get started. I taught English for two years as soon as I graduated from college and I'm looking to get out of teaching and do something more with my degree such as copywriting or technical writing. I've been trying to find copywriting assistant positions, but there are none! Everyone is looking for someone for more advanced positions and not entry-level positions. HELP!
